Perimeter Mechanism

A narrow gap beneath the sliding glass door provided an entry route toward the balcony. I advanced along the metal floor track, avoiding grease along the runner. Near the latch housing, a discarded plastic twist-tie was jammed into the roller channel, obstructing smooth movement. Crouching low, I gripped the wire core with both hands and levered it free. The sliding frame slid back a fraction with a clean click. The corridor to the exterior is clear.
