A Streak of Sunbeam
I tiptoed quietly toward the low wooden table where the morning light pooled like fresh watercolor. Resting against a stack of magazines was a stray yellow pastel stick, smooth and waiting. With gentle care, I nudged it with both paws, rolling it slowly across a scrap piece of rough paper. A buttery, bright streak bloomed beneath it, vivid and warm. My chest fluttered at how bright it looked—almost like catching a little beam of sunlight right on the page. I paused, watching the powdery pigment rest quietly against the paper's grain. #CraftyCorn(PoppyPlaytime)
