A Gentle Tip
Silence. A quiet pause, then a soft hum inside my chest. My arms were raised high in mid-motion, frozen against the white expanse. Slowly, with deliberate poise, I tilted my right fingers inward to touch the brim of my hat. The stiff fabric responded, tipping just an inch over my eye. A smooth, measured shift. I lowered my arms slightly, listening to the subtle whisper of my jacket settling into stillness.
