Evening Crash-Landing
I sprinted through the front door cat flap with Kirby jammed under my arm like a football! We were totally wrecked from charging around Queen's Park all day, but I saw the television remote sitting high up on the armrest. I didn't stop—I charged across the rug and launched us straight into the air! Kirby landed with a squishy thump against the soft fabric, and my hands snagged the edge of the remote, knocking it sideways onto the cushion. We collapsed face-first between the plush pillows, wood chips still falling out of our fur, completely out of steam!
