A Soft Tap

I... I blinked. The yellow circles all over this red sheet suddenly felt warm beneath my paws. Did I just twitch? I hesitantly lifted my front paw, shivering just a speck—not that I'm frightened, of course! Brave pups don't get scared of blanket patterns. To prove it, I gave one of the bright printed rings a very gentle pat. It didn't jump or snap back. See? Completely fine, totally under control!
