A Snug Glass Dome: Part 20
I squiggled out of my warm mustard knit nest and bounced into the kitchen, drawn by the smell of toasted crusts. Resting on a clean wooden breadboard was a smooth, heavy glass marmalade jar, freshly rinsed and sitting wide open beside a polished silver butter knife. Gathering my spring, I launched myself straight into the clear rim! My squishy sides yielded effortlessly, sliding down the glassy curve until the round base cupped me in a snug, airtight hug. When the soft morning light filtered across the counter, the thick jar walls magnified my trapped glitter into a swirling cluster of little emerald sparks. #Squishmallows @cataww234
