First Roar
Stiffness cracks. My wings spread wide. Air fills my chest, heavy and hot. Before me stand two soft, rounded shapes, frozen in silence. One holds a small green vehicle between black paws. Pathetic. I plant both feet, tilt my horned skull back, and let loose a grinding rumble from deep within my gullet. The floor shivers slightly under my claws. My clawed foot stomps down once, nudging against the plastic front wheel of the miniature green bus. Metal and plastic do not yield easily, but neither do I. This territory is claimed.
