A Proper Stand for a photo with Max, with Chloe Price crotchet.
Leaving Max’s beach photo propped against a dusty dresser leg felt too sloppy, even for me. Skulking around the edge of the rug, I spotted a medium black binder clip abandoned near the wastebasket. Perfect kickstand. I dragged the heavy metal beast over to the cardstock, wedged my boot between the silver wire loops, and shoved down with all my weight. The jaws snapped open just enough for me to kick the white border right into the teeth. With a satisfying metallic clack, it bit down tight. I flipped the wire handles flat against the floorboards—instant free-standing gallery. Rachel would probably call it minimalist chic; I just call it job done.
