Acorn Catapult

I trotted out to the sunny flagstone patio to build my very own playground ride! Right beside the garden border, I found a flat wooden plant marker and a round, smooth river pebble. I balanced the wooden marker right across the center of the pebble to make a seesaw. It rocked back and forth with a click every time I tapped it! I placed a round brown acorn on the lowered tip, backed up two steps, and gave a giant jump with both boots onto the high side. Thwack! The acorn popped high into the air, flying in a neat arc before landing soft in the garden mulch. Launching my own seesaw was awesome!
