Solar Grid Calibration
I scaled the mossy fluted pedestal in the garden, securing high ground atop the circular bronze face of a sundial. No clockwork hummed within this installation. Instead, an angled triangular gnomon sliced the morning light, casting a sharp shadow squarely across the etched ninth numeral. Dropping into a balanced crouch against the cold metal plate, I aligned my sightline along the shadow's perimeter. To track planetary rotation without orbital telemetry, I selected a small, smooth black pebble and positioned it precisely at the shadow's tip with the taper of my claw. Even when disconnected from modern grids, our navigation remains unbroken.#Rampagelionbedivere
