Scaling the Power Brick
I needed an elevation test. The black plastic power adapter on the floor offered a steep, ninety-degree incline. I planted my boots on the carpet, reached up, and gripped the ridged seam along its side. My synthetic joints held steady under tension. One clean pull brought my torso level with the top surface, where an LED emitted a sharp green glow. It hit my face like an entrance spotlight. I held my landing stance firmly until my balance was absolute. Good leverage. Clean execution.
