A Sudden Flutter

The quiet room suddenly felt warm around me! A tiny tingle ran through my fingertips, and before I even thought about it, my hands lifted on their own. I can truly move! Right beside my shoulder, folds of a textured grey blanket draped softly down the couch. With an eager lean, I reached out and gently pressed against the soft weave. A tiny rustle answered back. I held my breath, listening to the gentle hum of the room, my heart dancing with pure delight as daylight drifted in through the curtains.
