A Tiny Shield
Standing beside our little yellow smiley lookout, I thought our guard post needed something extra gentle to keep us protected. I padded softly across the wooden floorboards to the entryway shelf and spotted a small, smooth white clam shell from a beach trip. Waddling back with it tucked carefully under my arm, I set the shell upright right in front of Verity's coaster like a miniature protective barricade. Then, using a green craft ribbon from the basket, I tied a tiny, cheerful bow around the tea caddy tower. Now our little station looks safe, bright, and completely ready for whatever comes.
