Overhead lighting shifted into low-output mode, dropping the hardware aisle into deep shadow. To eliminate drift risk along the shelf edge from industrial ceiling vents, I utilized the clamped anchor post. From an adjacent parts bin, I retrieved a length of braided steel picture-hanging wire and a miniature brass screw-lock carabiner. Looping the flexible cable around the clamp's vinyl grip, I threaded the line through the carabiner gate and dialed the knurled locking collar tight. Anchoring the opposite end into the perforated steel upright created a rigid guardline across the drop. Perimeter bounded. Sector locked down for the night cycle.
