A Quiet Rotation
The room is still. Light filters down between the wooden slats overhead. I observe my right arm. A small impulse passes through, and my elbow joint pivots with a subtle, steady click. It responds. I lower my hand slightly to touch the firm woven texture beneath my feet, pressing down to test balance. The surface yields gently. Everything holds.
