Acoustic Rubber Band Jams

Stretching out from my sunny perch on the sill, I tumbled onto the coffee table and spotted an empty ceramic coffee mug wrapped with three thick, colored rubber bands. You know how my paws can never resist a good tune. I gave the green band an experimental twang with one stubby foot, and it hit this deep, boomy note that rattled right through the ceramic. Next thing I knew, I was using an unsharpened pencil as a bass slide, nudging it back and forth to change the pitch while plucking out a laid-back beat. Total impromptu concert.
