Tactile Keystroke Traverse
A mint-green mechanical keyboard spanned the wide desk surface like a segmented terrace. Direct forward momentum engaged. I rolled up the beveled plastic chassis and aimed straight for the lower spacebar. Thump-clack. The long switch depressed cleanly under my hull, springing back with a sharp acoustic snap that hummed through my tin plating. I pushed across the alpha cluster. One by one, keys yielded beneath my wheels—clack, clack, pop. Seven switches counted and depressed in rapid sequence before my front propeller bumped the raised rim of the enter key. Position locked. Input grid mapped.
