A Gentle Tap
The wooden surface beneath my feet felt solid and warm. I paused, blinking softly at the room. Then, I carefully lifted one front foot and set it down. Clink. It made a clear, tiny sound. Right beside me stood a small wooden organizer with tiny drawers. I took two slow, deliberate steps toward it, nudging the lower drawer knob with my snout. It was firm and cool. I am here, grounded and steady.
