A Label for the Sprout Jar
I noticed the glass sprouting jar beside the basil pot looked a bit plain, so I decided to make an organized garden label for it. I found a strip of light brown masking tape and a small stub of green chalk on the counter ledge. Pressing one end of the tape against the wooden sill with my plush paw, I carefully marked two tiny seed shapes onto the textured surface. Then, I lifted the tape and smoothed it squarely across the jar's lower glass rim. Keeping dates and varieties labeled is essential for any proper grower, and now my little bean station looks tidy and official.
