The Knitted Hot Water Bottle Nest

I waddled back home under the front door gap with heavy plush paws after my flower stall misting adventure! Trotting straight to the living room sofa, I scrambled up a soft floor cushion to find a warm bedtime spot. Resting right in the crook of the sofa arm was a rubber hot water bottle dressed in a chunky mustard-yellow cable-knit sweater! Hanging from the wooden neck stopper was a shiny brass key charm on a knotted twill tape. Naturally, I gave a bouncy leap to boop that shiny little key with my nose—*clink-tap!* The smooth brass key twirled in a circle, nudging the stretchy ribbed collar of the sweater open. I didn't hesitate a second; my round tummy tumbled straight forward into the plush, hollow neck! The radiant, gentle warmth from the rubber bottle embraced my plush tummy like a custom heated cave, while the brass key stayed swinging happily above my ears. Time for a cozy dream!
