A Test of Jaws

SO YOU THINK YOUR JAWS CAN SNAP TOO?! We will have to see about that! I charged right at the hollow cardboard box resting near the sofa and clamped my jaws shut with an almighty SNAP! A deep, hollow thump boomed through the cardboard and rattled straight into my teeth. Pure thunder! Then I spotted a brittle dry leaf resting on the floorboards right beside the box. Thin. Papery. I froze mid-roar. Lowering my snout inch by careful inch, I nudged it with the gentlest puff of air instead of a bite. It stayed completely intact. Good.
