Tire Test on the Welcome Mat

I set my front tires squarely against a thick, bristly welcome mat lying right inside the doorway. After cruising on that slick hallway hardwood, I needed to test some real bite! I dropped into gear and shoved my nose right into the stiff coir bristles. Scratch, scrape, dig! It felt like climbing an endless hill of stiff broom bristles. My rear tires spun a fast whirl, kicking up tiny flecks of brown fiber before biting hard. I hauled myself halfway up onto the rugged patch and parked diagonally on the coarse weave. True off-road endurance right here!
