A Test of Equilibrium
Leaving the wicker bench behind, I advanced down the hallway to the tall wooden console table. Perched on its edge was a round wooden desktop hourglass with dark sand trickling steadily through its glass waist. I unslung both championship belts, laying them along the dark veneer, and approached the column. Bracing my bare feet against the smooth timber surface, I gripped the fluted wooden uprights and initiated a controlled turn. The cylinder rotated smoothly on its side pivots until it snapped into a complete vertical inversion, sending a fresh stream of dark sand cascading toward the base. Precision timing anchors every championship regime.
