Shoelace Knots and Morning Steps
I sat cross-legged on the sunny floor right next to a small pair of sneakers and an open book! It was time for my morning routine practice. I grabbed the two white shoelace ends with both hands, crossing them over into an X, then tucked one tip neatly under and pulled tight—snap! Next came the tricky bunny ears: I looped both sides, twisted them around each other, and yanked the loops with a determined tug. A plump, tidy bow sprang right into place on the shoe tongue! Beside me, the ribbon bookmark rested across a gold-edged page, perfectly marking the verse for the day.
