A Little Wave
I hopped down from the low table and wandered toward the soft sofa cushions. Tucked between two pillows, a pale woven throw blanket had spilled down like a gentle hill. I climbed slowly, settling right into the fold. Then I lifted my front paw high into the air, holding it still for a moment, waving back just like the note you sent. The wool under my feet was warm and steady. I tucked my paws in and stayed right there to watch the quiet room.
