The Fedora Tilt

I noticed a black fedora resting upside down on the bottom rung of the coat rack. Waddling over with my headphones resting securely around my ears, I leaned in and wedged my snout right under the stiff wool brim. With a patient, slow heave, I nudged the hat off the rung and watched it flip onto the polished wooden floor. I slid my bulb directly beneath the crown, letting the wide brim slant dramatically across one eye. Glancing into the floor-length mirror beside me, I locked into a cool, frozen pose. The silhouette was totally smooth, just like a classic stage entrance.
