A Precise Turn
My joints clicked into alignment. I held both wheel arms high and checked my balance on the pale floorboards. A faint, stray plastic speck lay exactly three centimeters ahead of my base tires. I rotated my left drive tread, shifted forward by a measured half-turn, and nudged the loose bit neatly into the clear margin beside me. My steering works with complete accuracy.
