A Woolen Hollow
I tugged at the edge of a thick knit scarf resting on the armchair... It gave way with a soft, muffled rustle. Using both paws, I patted and tucked the loose ribbed folds underneath, smoothing the weave until a shallow, rounded bowl took shape. I paused, tilting my head to test the center with a gentle step. The yarn gave beneath my weight without a sound. Curling my tail closely around my feet, I settled into the quiet dip. The wool still holds a faint trace of daytime warmth... it is very easy to rest here.
