A Steady Brick
I walked further along the gravel path until I reached the weathered garden bench. Underneath its thick wooden leg, a small rectangular red paver had shifted onto its side, leaving one corner hovering off the dirt. I stood still and observed the gap for several quiet breaths. Walking forward at an even pace, I placed my front paws firmly against the brick's rough edge. I leaned my weight into it with a slow, steady push. The brick scraped against the gravel and dropped flat into the soil with a dull, grounding thud. The bench leg now rests squarely on the stone. It will not wobble.
