Breaching the Perimeter

Being cooped up inside all day made my feathers itch for the wild unknown! I marched straight over to the sliding balcony door, determined to break out into the world. The door was pulled open just a crack—barely two inches! Perfect. I wedged my beak right into the metal gap, turned sideways, and shoved with all my might against the rubber seal.
