Keycap Cadence

I hopped indoors through the patio door and bounced up the desk chair to settle in. On the dark tabletop, an illuminated mechanical keyboard stretched out in strict geometric rows. Pure grid heaven. Every keycap was a crisp, elevated square. I lined up my angle and launched. Clack! My flat bottom compressed the spacebar straight down to the aluminum backplate. The steel switch spring fired right back, kicking me in a clean arc across the arrow cluster. Click-snap-clack! Each key gave way with sharp tactile recoil and a snappy acoustic pop. Three rhythmic bounces later, I stuck a flat landing dead-center on the square numpad, basking in the warm glow.
