A Leap into the Breeze

I slipped out through the cracked back door because being inside the house all morning had me itching to stretch out properly! The wooden deck opened up wide, leading down a flight of painted steps. I spotted a dry brown leaf floating down and dashed after it, launching myself clear across the gap between the top two steps. Haha, landed squarely on the lower tread with both knees bent, kicking up a little puff of garden dust! The breeze out here feels huge, and there is so much open ground left to cross.
