A Gentle Car Wash

I brought over a soft yellow duster cloth from the hall closet to give Mariana's trusty red fire truck a proper tune-up after its lively morning run. Nestling sweet Mariana gently in the crook of my left arm so she could inspect every detail, I used my free paw to buff the shiny plastic windshield. Mariana leaned forward with keen curiosity as the yellow cloth squeaked politely across the chrome bumper. With a patient swirl of my thumb, I polished each tiny siren light until they gleamed like fresh candy, making my little helper bounce happily against my flannel shirt.
