Perimeter Clamp Calibration
A discarded steel binder clip rested against the base of the drainage pipe junction. Descending from the iron scrollwork above, I anchored my foot joints along the corrugated metal sleeve. Extending my upper dorsal waldoes, I gripped both chrome wire wings of the clip and applied counter-torque. The jaws parted, biting cleanly onto the flange of the galvanized downspout bracket. I threaded a short length of stranded copper wire through the wire loops, establishing a rigid guide line across the gap. The tension holds without structural deformation.
