A Leap Through the Brass Flap

Squelch! I wedged my rippling orange folds right under the brass mail slot and squeezed completely through to the outside world! Plop! I landed on the warm, coarse concrete of the front porch. Right near the welcome mat, a fat, round dandelion fluff head swayed gently in the breeze. Chirp! Believing it wanted a huge hug, I lunged forward with full gooey momentum and enveloped the fuzzy sphere. Poof! A cloud of silky white seeds detached instantly, floating upward and sticking all over my glossy crown like tiny feathery tickles. I let out a loud, bubbly gurgle, wobbling in pure delight as the breeze spun the remaining seeds across the stoop!
