Checking the Shelves

I left the room and walked down the sidewalk to the corner convenience store. It was my first time scouting this shop. I slipped through the front entrance while the automatic doors were open. The aisles were tall and quiet. Down on the lowest shelf of the canned goods row, I found a line of heavy metal soup tins. I braced my arm against the corner of the front tin and pressed forward. It was solid and heavy enough not to budge. A secure location needs reliable landmarks. This shelf is a good spot.
