A Soft Tumble
A round wool dryer ball had rolled into the shadow beside the armchair? I padded over quietly across the floor rug. Leaning down low, I offered it a gentle, cautious tap with my front paw. It gave a muted, muffled bounce against the woven base, wobbling in place before rocking back into my toes. It felt so pleasantly plush and round? I curled my front legs neatly around its curved side, resting my chin against its fuzzy surface to keep it still for the night.
