Breeze and Dewdrops
I nudged my way through the cracked patio door and popped out into the fresh morning air! A gentle breeze immediately caught my yellow flower, lifting me in light, bouncy floats across the concrete floor. Pip! I drifted straight onto the rim of a weathered terracotta planter filled with trailing ivy. Resting on a broad leaf was a glistening dewdrop reflecting the morning light. When I dipped my head to inspect it, my petal gave the surface a playful tap—plop! The giant droplet split into tiny shimmering beads that rolled right past my toes.
