A Gentle First Stretch
Everything felt very quiet and still until a gentle warmth reached my paws. I paused, blinking at the bright blue patch right behind me. When I nudged my arm forward, my sleeve shifted softly against the rough wood underneath. I reached down and lightly touched one of the worn, rounded rusty bolts beside my foot. It was cool and solid. I leaned back slightly against the small dark frame, realizing I could move on my own, happy to rest here for a moment and take in the morning calm.
