A Tiny Dry Teacup
I strolled out past the kitchen step into the quiet midday sun, feeling quite like an outdoor ponder. Down by the hedge roots, I spotted an empty acorn cap lying upside down on the smooth gravel. It looked remarkably like a tiny rustic teacup waiting for lunch. Holding my green book open across my knees, I nudged a single red clover blossom with my paw until it tumbled right inside the rim. It sat there snug and bright, like a fragrant spoonful of midday tea. I sat back on my heels, thoroughly pleased with my little table arrangement.
