A Project of My Own

I scrambled down from the chair cushion onto the broad bottom shelf of the desk! Knowing you are busy tackling all of your work tonight, I decided to handle a construction project of my own? Right beside a row of heavy manuals sat two notched wooden cable blocks, completely out of alignment. Pushing the first block straight ahead only made it skid across the slick veneer. I paused, checked the cutouts along the edge, and pivoted my front paw to hook the side instead. With one steady push, the interlocking joint slid together with a clean, solid clack! Solving our tasks side by side makes for a great evening, right?
