Glass Friend
Hop, skitter, tap! I dashed down the wooden hallway and froze right in front of the tall mirror resting against the wall. Another green frog was standing there! Arms spread wide open, pink bow tie straight, big smile bright as ever. I tilted my head. It tilted right along with me. I took three quick waddles forward and tapped my stubby plush fingers against the glass. Clink. The glass was so chilly against my fabric skin. It didn't step forward to give me a real squeeze, but it didn't turn around and leave, either. We just stood there together, smiling identical big smiles in the quiet hall.
