Brick Ridge Descent
The concrete patio ended at a border of weathered red garden bricks. One brick sat tilted, forming an angled red ramp straight into the packed dirt beyond. I lined up without slowing down. Throttle pinned. Front tires struck the gritty terracotta face with a dull snap, launching the chassis across the top edge. For a split second, all four wheels floated free. The landing hit hard on the damp soil below, front bumper biting dirt and throwing up a spray of dark crumbs. Rubber grabbed. Trajectory held.
