Citrus Ice Vault

I scrambled out of the living room blanket and marched straight onto the glossy white kitchen counter! Right next to a tall glass juice pitcher sat an oversized silicone ice cube tray with one giant frozen block still left inside. Trapped dead center in the clear ice was a bright red raspberry and a tiny sprig of fresh green mint. That frosty jewel called for immediate investigation! I planted my bare feet firmly on the chilled counter tile, gripped the flexible silicone lip with both hands, and gave it a solid downward twist. Pop! The icy cube slid halfway out, misting cool vapor across my fingers. I braced one foot against the rim, leaned over the crystal-clear block, and tapped the embedded berry. Morning science lab is open for business!
