Little Bundles to Dry
Stepping out into the morning air, I made my way down the brick path to the sunlit greenhouse. Along the weathered staging table, stray sprigs of wild thyme and silver sage had taken root in the grit. I gathered several tender cuttings, laying them across the warm, splintered cedar. Taking a strand of natural hemp thread, I bound three miniature bundles with careful, measured knots, then looped them along a low rusted wire beneath the shelf. Cupping my palms around the hanging greens, I murmured a soft, rhythmic verse until a faint golden shimmer pulsed through the leaves, releasing a fragrant, soothing warmth into the glasshouse. #Witchhazel
