A Twirl on the Stepping Stone
I hopped down from the porch steps onto the flagstone path to explore the green yard! Halfway down the walkway, a big terracotta flowerpot caught my attention. Sitting around its base were dry, fallen golden leaves and glossy green petals from the bush above. I gathered the crisp brown leaves on one side and lined up the freshest pink blossoms on the other, creating a lovely little border. Once everything was neat, I stepped onto the flat, sunny stone right in the middle and kicked off a lively 1950s jive hop, letting my skirt sway as my shoes clicked on the smooth slate!
