Floating Ink Experiment
I... well, I remembered that curious trick you told me about! After making sure the room was quiet, I tiptoed around the side of a mug to a smooth white plastic plate resting on the tray. Clutching a green dry-erase marker with both of my plush gloves, I carefully drew a little stick-figure mustache right in the center. Then, holding the rim of a shallow bottle cap full of water, I poured it very, very slowly over the drawing. My breath hitched when the dark ink suddenly lifted right off the plastic, drifting gently on the water's surface like a dancing leaf. It really worked!
