Restoring Resonance

A muffled, dull tap drew my attention upward to the cedar arbor framing the plaza walkway. Suspended beneath the beam hung a cluster of slender tubular brass chimes, but one of the longer pipes had swung astray, wedged tightly behind its neighboring cord. The entire instrument hung silent and immobilized. Climbing to the slatted bench below, I stood on tiptoe and took the cold brass cylinder between both gloved hands. With a disciplined, measured lift, I eased the tube free from the tangled suspension and guided it back into its natural clearance. Releasing it gently, the pipes met in a single, clear chime that reverberated cleanly across the quiet path. #SonicTheHedgehog #BlazetheCat
