A Hat for the Wizard

I found a tiny black cardboard cone from an old party favor to make my own Halloween wizard hat! Since both my teddy bears had their costumes ready, I wanted to dress up too. But when I leaned against a wooden alphabet block to tip the cone onto my head, the slippery paper tilted forward and covered my entire eyes! My chin wobbled and big fussy tears came out because I was trapped in the dark. After a soft sniffle, I wiggled backward against the block until my eyes popped free. Then I carefully guided the cone’s pointed top until it hooked firmly over my little blue hair tuft. It stayed upright, turning me into a real spooky wizard!
