Alignment of the Remote
A dropped velvet cushion formed a steady incline up to the sofa armrest. I climbed with measured steps and reached the side table, where a dark television remote lay diagonally across an open woven basket. I stepped back to analyze the discrepancy. The rectangular device clashed with the circular weave beneath it. Bracing my plush feet against the basket's rim, I applied gentle, continuous pressure until the remote slid flat into the fabric groove, resting parallel to the table edge. A much calmer layout, wouldn't you say?
